Privacy notice
What we collect when you contact us, why we hold it, who it goes to and how long we keep it. Written to be read rather than to be impenetrable.

1. Who we are

2. What we collect
Only what you give us, plus basic technical data.
- Enquiry data — name, email, phone, country of residence, and the market, venture, capital range and timeline you select.
- Message content — anything you write in the free-text field.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type and pages visited, held in server logs.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
3. Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, to assess whether the venture you are asking about is feasible, to prepare a proposal if it is, and to keep our own records of enquiries received. Server logs are used for security and diagnostics.
The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and the steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
4. Who it is shared with
Our email and hosting providers, acting under contract on our instructions. If your enquiry proceeds, professionals we engage on your instruction — for example a formation agent or accountant in the market concerned. Nothing is sold, rented or shared for marketing.
5. Where it is held
On servers we control, and with the providers named above. Where data moves outside your country it is transferred under the appropriate safeguards for that transfer.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not proceed are held for 24 months and then deleted. Where an engagement follows, records are held for the period required by Indian company and tax law. Server logs are rotated within 90 days.
7. Your rights
You may ask for a copy of what we hold, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to our use of it. Write to support@akontec.com and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. The enquiry form carries a honeypot field, submission throttling and header-injection protection. Access to enquiry records is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure and we do not claim otherwise.
9. Children
This site is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
If this notice changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects you directly, tell you.
